‘This little series represents a bit of a departure for me as I’ve actually rendered the tree trunks in colour and the foliage is seldom green!  I wanted to make some images that when you viewed them they immediately made you smile with pleasure because of the generous and exuberant use of colour.  This path is crossed by water, but how do you cross water?  Stepping stones of course, the obvious answer to an age-old problem.’
