‘This crab pot had obviously broken from its string and been washed up on Overstrand beach.  I found it, rather battered along with it’s spinner next to a groyne with one end half buried in sand and flints.  I left it there, a symbol of how man works with the natural world but also a reminder of the sheer power of nature when it chooses.’
