‘Crab boats are a quintessential part of this coast, there is little that says more about North Norfolk.  I saw these two and they told a story, how could I not paint them.  I did change their registration, as I do with all my boats, so they can’t be identified.  But there they were, laid up and resting, waiting patiently for their next trip.’
