‘A view of the village from my study window.  I guess it may sound rather lazy, sort of ‘just look out of the window and paint what you see’, but I am entranced by this view, it changes constantly and there is always something new.  When I painted this there was a fence around the paddock, that has gone as have the potato ridges, it’s all change, nothing stays the same.’
