‘Back to boats again for this image. Set on Cromer beach it was inspired by the pairing of two types of crab boat.  The old clinker-built boat sits next to the modern fibreglass design. I can remember watching boats like these being built as a youngster.  The smell of the sawn and planed timbers as you walked past the shed, unforgettable.’
