‘In my mind possibly the most iconic image of Overstrand, the cafe, the crab boats and pots plus the rusty old tractors, all sitting and waiting for the calmer weather over the summer. Here you can get a cup of tea and cake, buy the freshest crabs and lobsters at the shack and look down at the long, meandering beach with Cromer pier in the West and Sidestrand to the East.  It really is the ‘land that time forgot’, no arcades, no amusements just a simple sea-side village with a beautiful beach.
