‘A number of my pictures are inspired by the copse behind my house, tall self-set trees competing for the available light.  This was a magnificent sunrise one morning in the depths of winter, accompanied by a light snow fall.  It was magical to watch the flakes glittering down in the dawn light and settling on the ground..  I have just realised that the hare is probably me, I called it Early Morning Snow, then couldn’t get Gordon Lightfoot out of my head!’
