‘Autumn colours entrance me, they are so vibrant and varied.  I was reflecting on their range last year and decided to make a picture using the entire spectrum of colours, almost like a rainbow and to combine that with silhouette trees and a simple landscape.  There are so many leaf shapes to use but I chose the heart, which is a common but so full of connotations in our world as well.’
