‘I wanted to paint a picture that evoked everything I remembered about Norfolk beach holidays from my childhood. The warmth of the sun, sea breezes and flying kites, building sand castles, exploring rock pools, listening to the sound of the waves on the beach, sandy towels, finding shells and watching boats.  They were magical and very innocent days.’
