‘It doesn’t snow frequently in this area, being close to the sea has it’s advantages.  When it does it is often later in the winter, February or March is not unusual, brought in on a northerly or easterly wind.  This winter it was very cold quite early and the snow not only settled inland but unusually on the beach itself, right down to the tide line.  It was an image I had to capture, a crab boat in the snow.’
